Guesty for Pros has a two stage onboarding. You'll first provide API credentials from your Guesty Portal to the CraftedStays Dashboard. Then, you'll copy/paste your Guesty booking engine URL to Craftedstays. The steps below walk you through this process. This should take less than 5 minutes to set up.
Connect Guesty for Property Sync
On your Dashboard, Select "Connect to Guesty" - Alternatively, you can go to settings and connect to Guesty there.
You'll be asked to provide your Guesty Booking Engine API Client ID and Client Secret.
Go to your Guesty Dashboard and go to Growth, The Distributions. Select Guesty Booking Engine API (third card on the screen below)
Copy the "Client Secret" and the "Client ID" and paste it in the CraftedStays Dashboard from above.
Update your Booking Engine URL - go back to the distributions page and Select Guesty Booking Engine (second card on the screen below)
Copy your Booking Engine URL
Almost done
After completing the steps above, you'll need to choose between the CraftedStays Integrated Checkout or the Guesty Booking Engine Checkout. For Stripe users, we suggest the CraftedStays Checkout. Go to the following help articles to configure your desired checkout.
Option 1 - CraftedStays Checkout
Option 2 - Guesty Booking Engine Checkout

Your property listings
Photos and descriptions

Troubleshooting
"Unable to connect to Guesty"
Problem: Connection fails after entering credentials. Solutions:
Double-check that you copied the Client ID and Client Secret correctly
Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the values
Try generating new credentials in Guesty
Verify you're using Guesty for Pros (not Lite)
"I don't see Open API in Guesty"
You likely have Guesty Lite, which doesn't support API integration. See Guesty Integration: Which Version Do You Have? for your options.
"I lost my Client Secret"
Go to Guesty > Integrations > Open API
Find your CraftedStays application
Click to regenerate the Client Secret
Update the credentials in CraftedStays
"Token expired" errors
CraftedStays automatically refreshes tokens when they expire. If you're seeing persistent token errors:
Try disconnecting and reconnecting Guesty
Generate new Client ID and Secret
Contact support if the issue persists
