An FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section helps answer common guest questions, reduces support inquiries, and improves SEO by addressing search queries.
Two Ways to Add FAQ Content
Option 1: Built-in FAQ Section
Templates include an FAQ section that pulls from your site's FAQ data.
Option 2: List Toggle Section
Create a custom expandable Q&A list on any page. Please note that this block may not yet be supported across all templates, but broader availability is planned in future updates.
Using the Built-in FAQ Section
Step 1: Add FAQ Data
Go to your CraftedStays dashboard
Navigate to Site settings
Look for FAQ section
Add your questions and answers

Go to Template Editor
Select the page (usually Home)
Add the FAQ section
Configure the title (e.g., "Frequently Asked Questions")
Save changes

FAQ Best Practices
Write Clear Questions
Use the exact words guests would use:
Good: "How do I check in?"
Less clear: "Arrival procedures"
Keep Answers Concise
Answer the question directly
Use short paragraphs or bullet points
Don't include unnecessary details
Update Regularly
Add new questions as they come up
Remove outdated information
Review quarterly
Order Strategically
Put most common questions first, or group by category.
Adding FAQ to Custom Pages
You can create a dedicated FAQ page:
Create a new custom page (slug: "faq")
Add a Hero or Title section at the top
Add one or more List Toggle sections
Organize by category if you have many questions
Add to your navigation menu
