Overview
Collections let you group properties by theme, making it easier for guests to find what they're looking for. Examples: "Pet Friendly", "Hot Tub Havens", "Beachfront", "Family-Friendly".

Creating a Collection
1. Access Collections
Go to your CraftedStays dashboard
Navigate to Properties
Click "Manage Collections"
2. Create New Collection
Click "New Collection"
Enter collection details:
Name - e.g., "Pet Friendly Properties"
Description - Brief description of the collection
Image - Cover image for the collection
3. Save the collection
Adding Properties to Collections
Important: You assign properties to collections from the Properties tab, not from the collection itself.
Steps:
Go to Properties
Click on a property
Look for Collections field
Select the collection(s) this property belongs to
Save changes
Multiple Collections
A property can belong to multiple collections. For example, a property could be in:
"Pet Friendly"
"Hot Tub"
"Family-Friendly"
Displaying Collections on Your Site
Collections Section
Displays all collections in a grid:
Go to Template Editor
Add the "Collections" section to your homepage
Configure title and subtitle
Save changes
Properties Collection Slider
Displays properties from ONE collection in a slider:
Add "Properties Collection Slider" section
Select which collection to display
Configure title and subtitle
Save changes
Properties Collection Grid
Displays properties from ONE collection in a grid layout:
Add "Properties Collection Grid" section
Select which collection to display
Set items per page
Save changes

Understanding the Star Icon (Featured)
The star icon on properties marks them as "Featured":
How to Feature a Property
Go to Properties
Click on a property
Toggle the Featured or Star option on
Save changes
Where Featured Properties Appear
Featured Properties section on homepage
Can filter by "Featured" on search page
Featured vs Collections
Use Featured for your absolute best properties (typically 3-6)
Use Collections for thematic groupings (unlimited)
Troubleshooting
Can't find Collections feature
Collections is exclusive to Refined 2.1 and Haven template. Switch to this template to access Collections.
Collection not showing on site
Make sure you've added a Collections section to your page
Verify the collection has at least one property assigned
Check that properties in the collection are active
Properties not appearing in collection
Go to the property (not the collection)
Edit the property
Check the Collections field
Make sure the collection is selected
Save and refresh
Collection images not loading
Check image was uploaded successfully
Use JPG or PNG format
Keep file size under 5MB
