How to Reset Your CraftedStays Password

Instructions for securely resetting your CraftedStays account password.

Overview

If you've forgotten your password or need to reset it, follow these steps to regain access to your CraftedStays account.



Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Go to the Sign-In Page

Navigate to app.craftedstays.co in your web browser.


2. Click "Forgot Password?"

On the sign-in page, below the Sign In button, click the "Forgot password?" link.


3. Enter Your Email Address

In the popup dialog that appears:

  1. Enter the email address associated with your CraftedStays account

  2. Click "Send Reset Email"


4. Check Your Email

  • Look for an email from Crafted Stays with the subject "Reset Your Crafted Stays Password"

  • The email will arrive within a few minutes

  • Check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it in your inbox
    ​

5. Click the Reset Link

In the email, you'll find:

  • A "Reset Password" button (recommended)

  • OR a plain text link you can copy and paste into your browser

Important: The reset link expires in 1 hour. If it expires, you'll need to request a new one.


6. Create Your New Password

  • Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)

  • Click submit to complete the reset


7. Sign In

Return to app.craftedstays.co and sign in with your email and new password.



Troubleshooting

"Link has expired"

The password reset link is valid for 1 hour. If you see this error:

  1. Click "Forgot password?" again

  2. Request a new reset link

"Link is invalid or has already been used"

Each reset link can only be used once. If you've already reset your password, try signing in with your new password. If you need to reset again, request a new link.


"Too many password reset attempts"

For security, there's a limit of 5 password reset requests per hour. If you see this message, wait an hour before trying again.


Didn't receive the email?

  1. Check your spam/junk folder

  2. Make sure you entered the correct email address

  3. Wait a few minutes - emails can sometimes be delayed

  4. Contact support if the email still doesn't arrive after 10 minutes

"Password is too weak"

Your new password must be at least 8 characters. Try using a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters.
