Overview
CraftedStays supports two ways to sign in to your account:
Google Sign-In - Sign in with your Google account
Email/Password - Sign in with your email address and a password

How It Works
Click "Sign in with Google" on the sign-in page
You'll be redirected to Google to authenticate
Once authenticated, you're automatically signed into CraftedStays
Benefits
No password to remember
Quick one-click sign-in
Uses your existing Google security (2FA, etc.)
Requirements
A Google account (Gmail, Google Workspace, etc.)
The same Google account you used when signing up
Email/Password Sign-In
How It Works
Enter your email address
Enter your password
Click "Sign in"
Setting Up Email/Password (If You Signed Up with Google)
If you originally signed up using Google Sign-In but want to also have password access:
Go to app.craftedstays.co
Click "Forgot password?"
Enter the email associated with your Google account
Check your email for the reset link
Set a new password
You can now sign in with either Google OR email/password
Which Should I Use?
Method | Best For |
Google Sign-In | Users who primarily use Google services and want quick access |
Email/Password | Users who prefer traditional login, or need to share access with team members who don't use Google |
Note: You can use both methods on the same account. The email address just needs to match.
Troubleshooting
"I signed up with Google but want to use a password"
Follow the steps above in "Setting Up Email/Password" - use the forgot password feature to create a password for your account.
"I can't remember which method I used to sign up"
Try both:
First, try clicking "Sign in with Google"
If that doesn't work, use "Forgot password?" to set up email/password access
"My Google sign-in isn't working"
Make sure you're signing in with the same Google account you originally used
Try signing out of Google completely, then signing back in
